Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept credit card payment via Paypal. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. Your order will be processed immediately payment has been cleared.

 

Shipping And Handling

UK deliveries will be despatched First-class via Royal Mail within 2 working days (If Express delivery is required, you must select this option at checkout).

 

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

 

Tax

All orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero.

 

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

 

Guarantee

We guarantee your complete satisfaction. All of our products come with a 7 day no quibble guarantee.

 

Returns

Claims for damage/shortage must be reported within 7 days of delivery. If you are dissatisfied with your order, goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt.

You have 7 days to return the goods if you want to cancel the order, exchange the item or receive a refund.

 

How to cancel your order, or return or exchange a product

Contact us to let us know that you wish to cancel your order, or return or exchange a product by:

 

    1. Outlining this via email at sales@dixonpublishing.co.uk or directly by signing in to your account at www.dixonpublishing.co.uk/my-account , clicking ‘my orders’ within this menu, picking the order you want to return and selecting the appropriate option.

 

2. If already received, package the item up and send it back to us within 7 days (UK) or 14 days (overseas) letting us know that you want to cancel your order and return the product (we recommend you use a signed-for delivery service with proof of postage). Please note that you will have to bear the direct cost of returning the product.

 

3. We will process the refund directly to your payment card, in no more than 14 days after the day the product is received. Please note that you are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from the handling of the product in any way other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product while you are responsible for it (this includes, in the context of a return, when the product is in transit back to us). The item must be in a suitable condition for resale to receive a full refund. Dixon Publishing do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option.

We reserve the right to vary our prices, product descriptions and website content whenever necessary.

Any copying of the material or content on www.dixonpublishing.co.uk is strictly prohibited.

 

ORDERING and AVAILABILITY

The minimum order inclusive of shipping is 60 units. Any less than this quantity, we apply a delivery charge of £15. We aim to ensure we have full product availability, however we cannot guarantee 100% of the stock will be available. Should you require a large volume of a particular product then please contact us at sales@dixonpublishing.co.uk in order to discuss your requirements. Should your order contain items that are out of stock then the order will be sent out without those items which will be back ordered. In the event of a item being discontinued we will cancel the part of the order that we cannot fulfil and issue the appropriate refund (if applicable). If there are any issues with stock availability, you will be notified by our team prior to your order being sent out.

 

CONTRACT

We will send you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Once payment has been received your order will be processed and we will notify you as soon as possible if for any reason we are unable to fulfil your order. We may also at this stage decline your order, this may be due to an issue with your payment, the unavailability of stock, or the identification of a pricing or product description error. Once your order is despatched you will receive a delivery notification.

 

PAYMENT

Payment can be taken at the checkout, BACS or by cheque following an invoice being sent. You are expected to complete payment within 14 days of receiving the goods. New customers are required to provide a 50% upfront payment prior to order despatch and the remaining balance to be fulfilled within 14 days of receiving the order. Payment can be made with major credit, debit cards and via PayPal. Credit and Debit Card Payments are processed by our Payment Gateway Paypal.

 

SHIPPING

Our shipping charges outlined on this site are only to the UK mainland EXCLUDING the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands & Northern Ireland. Should you live in the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands or Northern Ireland, or outside the UK then please contact us to discuss your requirements.

 

We offer free delivery on orders with a minimum of 60 units placed. You are responsible for ensuring that all the details you give are correct as we cannot be held liable for any mis-delivery arising out of incorrect information that you have provided. We will process your order as quickly as possible, and despatch within 5 working days dependent on order size and stock availability. Our working days are Monday – Friday excluding Bank Holidays. We will send you an email or post your invoice the day following despatch of your order. Your order will be despatched on a next day delivery service. These lead times and delivery times are not binding. Delivery usually takes place between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Please note that some delivery drivers may operate outside these times. We are unable to accept specific requests for times or days.

 

Some deliveries are made by a tail lift lorry, and therefore you must ensure that we have suitable access and are able to stop and unload safely. Please ensure there is someone available to sign for the delivery. Once unloaded it is your responsibility to get the goods inside your premises. Deliveries can consist of more than one box or tubes. Ensure you check the delivery note and confirm the details are correct. If there are any signs of damage to your consignment, please notify us immediately on 01772 686653 or email sales@dixonpublishing.co.uk and note this on the delivery manifest. If you suspect significant damage has been caused, do not accept the delivery.

 

LIABILITY

Risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery to you. Unless specified on the products page goods do not come with any warranty or guarantee other than implied by law for business to business sales.

 

RETURNS

We do not accept returns of unwanted or non-faulty items. Any damaged goods must be reported within 7 days of receipt. Any shortages or damaged goods must be reported to our service team within 7 days of receipt via phone 01772686653 or email sales@dixonpublishing.co.uk. All claims shall be waived if they fall outside this timescale. Faulty goods may need to be returned to us, for inspection. Any returns are at your own cost and you will be responsible for the handling and shipping of the contents of your return. On receipt of the returned goods, we will inspect the products. If liability is accepted we will refund you for the cost of the goods and the reasonable return postage costs. AMENDING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER

Orders received by us are processed immediately and go straight into our storehouse to be picked. We regret that, once you have placed your order, we cannot cancel or amend it unless under extreme circumstances. Any changes or cancellations will incur an administration charge.

 

OWNERSHIP & RISK

Transfer of risk passes from us to you once you have accepted delivery of the order. Ownership of the goods shall not pass to you until we have received in full cleared funds of all sums due in respect of the order. We shall be entitled to recover payment for the goods even though ownership of any of the goods has not yet passed from us.

 

RETENTION OF TITLE

Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk, property in and title to, the goods shall remain the property of the seller until the seller has received payment of the full price of (a) all Goods and/or Services the subject of the Contract and (b) all other goods and/or services supplied by the seller to the buyer under any contract whatsoever. Payment of the full price shall include, without limitation, the amount of any interest or other sum payable under the terms of this and all other contracts between the seller and the buyer.

 

FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform any of our obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, accidents, war, fire, strikes, lock outs, failure of any communications including telecommunications or computer systems, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.
